Verified OwnerI was playing the 1937 Hauser design guitar almost one hour per day over the last four days. I am very happy with this guitar, I love the warm tone when playing Spanish Romanza and the strong volume when playing Argentine Tango. Before buying this guitar, I was checking some replicas made by other Luthiers, comparing pictures, this guitar is so beautiful as the other ones. I did not like to compare the sound, due to it has a lot to do with the player expertise and the type of amplification used for recording the sound sample. The fingerboard and string calibration makes easy to play. The quality of materials (Indian Rosewood, German spruce, etc.) and its finishing made this guitar outstanding. On top of all, you had priced this Guitar very competitive, making the buying decision easiest. Thanks a lot and best regards!

Verified OwnerI purchased a 1937 Hauser replica classical guitar from Richard Goyette on 17 June 2019. The guitar is both stunning physically and its sound is amazing. I have four other guitars, and the Hauser sounds the best and is the easiest to play of them all. I love playing the Hauser and I think that my playing has improved because of the quality of the sound and the ease of playing this guitar.

    Verified OwnerHello Richard,

I just received my Hauser Replica. It came Fed Ex and there wasn’t a dent on the carton. I already have a hand built classical guitar for nearly twenty years. This Hauser Replica is built even better than my old one. Everything about this guitar exceeds my expectations. The wood is beautiful, the build is flawless, fit and finish are all you could hope for, the action is comfortable which makes you want to play it. The finish makes you want to pick it up and when you feel the neck you can’t help but start playing it.

Even inside the guitar which you need a flashlight to see is a work of art. I thank you for your guidance and for the videos you have on your web site. I was able to compare the sound to the double tops which are quite a bit more money. To my ear this guitar is louder and the tone more crisp, the balance between base and treble is perfect. I’m looking forward to many years of pleasure playing this instrument. Again, I can’t express how much this guitar exceeds what I was hoping for.

    Sincerely,

    Chuck Lower

Verified OwnerI received my Hauser Replica in June 2020. The craftsmanship is flawless and the sound is just delicious. I’ve owned many guitars in my life including electrics, basses, acoustics and classicals made in the 60’s on up. But this one just makes me smile while I play it, and dream of it while I’m not. This replica is priced so well that it makes me want to buy a few more. I’ve been looking forward to owning a really exceptional classical guitar for a long time and now I have one. Thanks Richard, I can see that I have some new friends for life – you and my new ’37 Hauser.

I have been playing the 37 Hauser replica a lot and am very happy, indeed very surprised. Having owned guitars built by American luthiers I have to agree that it measures up, and in those terms is worth three or four times what I paid. Its performance far exceeds the obvious competitor in Chinese shop built guitars, the New World Players, for about the same price.

It is doggoned loud, but very refined in its volume. With such power and sensitivity, brilliance, depth and clarity, the sound is all I will ever need. The setup is spot on in every way. The medium fat and slightly rounded neck is very comfortable. It indeed seems true to the Hauser design, with its thick top and extremely light fan bracing. Workmanship is impeccable, and the polyurethane finish is thin enough that the sauce grain shows through.

Good on you for identifying these builders and coming up with this business idea. I don’t like China’s politics as of late, but I wish I could take Yulong and his crew out for pizza. Thanks for so nicely answering all my questions, sending extra photos, etc.

I’m playing a Paulino Bernabe M30 cedar top and the Hauser replica you sent me and the Hauser replica is every bit the quality of the Bernabe and even a little more. As far as the sound, my wife prefers cedar and I’ve always played cedar tops so there’s an advantage there for cedar, but she’s starting to favor the sound of the Hauser replica as I’m learning how to get more out of it. I can’t say enough about the guitar even if it was at a higher price. The value is unmatched.

I have owned guitars for years without really learning to play. I received guitar lessons as a gift and decided to pursue a classical style. I went through two nylon string guitars in which I started out loving them but quickly encountered their limitations. I began searching for a quality classical guitar that I could afford. I found that guitar in Goyette’s 1937 Hauser Replica. Richard Goyette’s business model made sense and I was confident he could deliver the guitar I was looking for. He did!
The 1937 Hauser Replica is light weight, easy to hold and playability is extraordinary. The power, sustain, balance between strings, and quality of tone surpassed any other guitars I tried. This guitar’s playability allowed me to finally relax with the instrument and begin to articulate some feeling into the notes, i.e. to actually play music!!
